Born in Tampere, Finland, Kamara started his career in England in the Southend United youth set up before moving to Arsenal in 2012. The midfielder joined the Arsenal Academy and was an unused substitute for Arsenal’s match against Galatasaray in the UEFA Champions League in December 2014.

Kamara made his debut for Arsenal on October 27th 2015, a day before his 20th birthday, against Sheffield Wednesday in the Football League Cup but that was his only first team appearance for The Gunners.

While at the Emirates Kamara had two spells out on loan at Southend and Colchester United and won three caps for the Finland Under-19 side and five for the Under 21s.

After a successful trial spell at Dens, Kamara joined Dundee in July 2017 and made his debut in the League Cup away at Raith Rovers where he put in a man of the match performance.

Kamara signed with Rangers FC in 2019 and scored his first goal with the club within two weeks of signing.

International duties have seen Kamara rise to be a young star recently receiving man of the match for his outstanding performance with Finland in Euro 2020 qualifying match v Armenia.
