Lyndon Dykes joins The Lions on a one-year deal and becomes the club’s ninth signing of the summer transfer window.

Dykes, born on the Gold Coast in Australia, started his career in Scotland and counts Queen of the South and Livingston amongst his clubs north of the border, before a move south took him to Queens Park Rangers in the summer of 2020.

In four years with The R’s, Dykes established himself as one of The Championship’s main strikers, scoring 16 goals in 2020/21 and going on to earn caps for Scotland, where he scored in four consecutive appearances for The Tartan Army.

A total of 13 goals for club and country the following season, backed up by 11 in 2022/23, saw Lyndon earn a move to Birmingham City in 2024, where he helped The Blues won promotion back to The Championship.
