The talented striker follows in the footsteps of his dad Sandy, who made 64 appearances and scored 22 goals for Rangers in the 80s in what is an emotional and proud move for the player and his family. Clark joined Ally McCoist’s Rangers squad for pre-season training to bolster the manager’s attacking options in 2013/14. The former Queen of the South star netted an incredible 41 goals in all competitions in 2012/13 as the Doonhamers were crowned SFL2 champions and also lifted the Ramsdens Cup. Clark played for Aberdeen and Peterhead before joining Queen of the South in July 2011, signing a one-year deal and then a 12 month extension which allowed him to find the stunning form which impressed the Gers coaching staff and earned him the PFA Division 2 Player of the Year award in May. Following a great run at Rangers Clark, made a short move to Bury Before joining Dunfermline Athletic on a permanent contract in 2016.
In the season of 17/18 Clark ended Top Goal scorer at Dunfermline Athletic for a second season in a row. He also landed a place in SPFL team of the season. In summer 2018 Nicky Clark made the move to Dundee United where he hopes to continue his impressive goal streak.
